I never knew that K-Swiss is into running these days. But the sport’s ‘renaissance’, the Virginia company known for making tennis shoes now joins the outdoor fray with the K-Swiss Konesic. it is isn’t your typical, over-the-edge revolutionary shoe; but it’s an indispensable, rather old-school tough gear.
As Slowtwitch says, “…this is not a light shoe, but it isn’t made for light runners. This is a shoe made for the heavier, over-pronating, runner. It does offer a lot of support due to two medial posts in the midsole, and the wide platform this midsole is based on. But despite all these stability features the shoe doesn’t run heavy, and for this K-Swiss deserves credit.”
I guess this caters to the not-so-light runners, offering more on the stability and comfort side of things. Think of Asics MC plus coupled with older Reebok supportive shoes. More details are on the site.
